Here we have our lovely Kingfisher - part of our creative garden art 'Rusty' range. Larger than life, it is a very attractive design and would compliment any pond in your garden. Designed with a stake that can be pushed into the ground, you can alternatively use the screw holes provided and fix to a nearby branch or post.
Our 'Rusty' range of products are intended to be allowed to rust and get better with age giving you a wonderful silhouette against the skyline or amongst your garden foliage.
When your 'Rusty' garden art is new, it will be in it's natural state of steel (silver coloured). All you need to do is place it where you want it to be outdoors and watch it change, helped by the great British weather.
Kingfisher Garden Stake
Made of 3mm Mild Steel.
It is intended to be left untreated to allow it to turn rusty. When this product is supplied to you, the colour will usually be a silvery grey steel colour, which is the materials natural colour before oxidisation takes place. There may be occasional blemishs to the surface where the rusting process may have already started.
If you would prefer a painted finish - you can do this DIY - any good quality metal primer and paint will be suitable as long as you follow the instructions and ensure that you completely de-grease the product before commencing any painting.
